👋 Why I Created Gamer Girls Read
Hi! I'm Reina, formerly OracleMyth.
Before I started going online by my pen name, I was OracleMyth. That was my gamer tag I used to stream, write fanfic, and work behind the scenes in esports under.
I spent years building communities for other people’s stories: participating in fandom spaces, moderating servers, ghostwriting under pen names that weren’t mine and helping authors get published.
Later, as Reina Zoric, I wrote a gamer girl romance book because I didn’t see women like me in stories like that. Women who grew up hiding their nerdiness, and who are now embracing it as an adult. Women with chronic pain, decision fatigue, and sensory burnout who still want to fall in love and get their happily ever after.
I’ve always believed that community should be a safe space. That’s what this is.
Gamer Girls Read isn’t about keeping up with our TBRs, it’s about belonging. It’s about giving women like you and me a place to talk about books, games, feelings, and anything else that makes everyday life more bearable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to read the books to stay in the community?
No. You can read one, none, or all five each month. It doesn’t affect your membership or your place in the community.
Do I have to talk in the server regularly?
Not at all. Lurkers are welcome. You can participate however much you want.
Are cameras required for hangouts?
Nope. Most people only use voice chat.
What if I join mid-month?
You’ll still get access to everything. Jump in whenever.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. And you’ll keep access for the rest of the billing cycle.
Is the Discord moderated?
Yes. There are clear rules, and mods who care. We take safety very seriously.
Do you ship the merch internationally?
Yes. Because of my partnership with Fourthwall, all the merch items can be shipped internationally.
